Special
needs programs are available upon request. All presentations are
available for most any size group or organization and are offered free
of charge.

Contributions
Donations to our
programs may be made by sending a check made payable to 'County Of
York' with "Sheriff's Youth Programs" in the memo line.

County Youth Detention Center Partnership
York
County Sheriff's Office works in cooperation with York County Youth
Detention Center (YDC) to provide educational programming for youth
who are detained at YDC in the shelter unit and secure detention
wings. The programs teach the youth communication skill, anger
management, conflict resolution skills, laws, victim
awareness/impact, citizenship, and values.
York
County Sheriff's Office also partners with YDC to take approved
shelter residents on outings to complete community service and
educational field trips. Below are photos of youth
